Service4Life criteria
Kane’s announcement of our new Service4Life program didn’t come overnight. It’s the result of 60 plus years of experience servicing primary care practices and more recently, 10 years of experience introducing digital imaging technologies into the mid-Atlantic region. While introducing digital x-ray to our customers, Kane experienced 4 separate self-imposed recalls which helped shape our Service4Life criteria and commitment.
These recalls ended up costing Kane X-ray approximately $100,000 in losses. You can imagine, after such an experience – we don’t recommend digital systems lightly.
To ensure our customers never experience any of the digital “nightmares” we’ve seen; we use the following criteria for the digital partners we are recommending:
Proven Reliability—a proven track record of dependable uptime, technical support, and service response time based on longevity of time-in-service at numerous reference sites.
Superior Image Accuracy—acquisition technology and processing software providing images with superior resolution, detail, and contrast over a variety of specialties and anatomy of interest.
Innovative Image Applications—an ability and focus to continue to provide updates and
upgrades of innovative diagnostic applications to protect investments now and in the future.
As a reseller and system integrator we have the opportunity to research and test different digital technologies and manufacturers. Any of the products we recommend in our digital product portfolio must pass these criteria. Only these products receive our remarkable Service4Life Warranty.
